Local hourly rates for dinner transfers, tours, shuttles etc.

Some notes about the prices.           

1. Additional hours, after the first four hour minimum, are billed in 1/4 hour increments. We want you to pay the least you can get away with.

2. Sorry, the 4 hour minimum cannot be split into two - 2 hour jobs in one day. What would we tell the driver?

3. Deadhead charges may be added to jobs commencing North of SF, in Berkeley and Oakland, and points south of Sunnyvale. Then again, we may waive them... we really want your business. Friendship too !

4. Hourly charter trips are based on the greater of the hourly or mileage rates (not shown) but not both. You will normally not have a "over mileage" charge if you do not go over 100 miles in the first four hours use and 18 miles each extra hour's use. Hourly charters that exceed the mileage allowed per hour mentioned in this section can be surcharged for extra miles used.

Call for a rate quotation and information on overnight and long distance trips over 100 miles. We need to talk with you anyway on where the driver will sleep?

5. One way transfers must be completed within 90 minutes of the start time to avoid extra charges at the hourly rates shown.  

6. A driver service charge of $5 per hour up to 10% of the total charge is not included in the rates above, and is up to you.

7. All rates are based on availability and subject to change until confirmed. Book early to confirm your rates and any great deals you talk us into. Go ahead, name a price. It does not hurt to ask.  

8. 45 seat mini coaches do not have restrooms or under floor luggage space. Use the 47 seat coaches for luggage trips unless you want to put your bags on your lap.

9. As of 1-15-2009, there is no fuel surcharge. Just say "No " if anyone tries to charge it. They might be pumping up the bill and that's not fair. The fuel surcharge may come back, but only if gas prices go back up. When there is a fuel surcharge you'll see it written here. 

10. No sales tax is required on charter services. The 1/2 of 1% PUC tax there is, is already included in our rates. That's it for taxes!

11. Private party orders will require deposits paid in advance by a certain date. These advance deposits CANNOT be made by credit cards. Advance deposits that are send to us past the require deadline, may be required to be made by cashiers check. We may also ask private parties to post a credit card to cover any overtime and damages incurred during a charter.

12. We occasionally do sub charter services from other qualified carriers we work with and trust. This practice helps us accommodate time and equipment change requests customers may make, deal with un-foreseen mechanical problems with equipment, and large multiple bus orders.

13. When reservations are made, we quote a price and hold equipment for a specific period of time and distance. Changes in use times and distances, can change the price of a particular service. We ultimately charge the reservation time or the actual time used, whichever is greater. Refunds for non un-used time are normally not given as the space cannot be resold.

14. No other hidden charges. Be careful if you are checking around. Some guys offer low rates, only to blindside you with extra fees after the sale like sales tax and garbage service charges. Get the quote in writing, we do it, they should too :)
